What clients often want to know

Here I answer frequently asked questions about my work in artist development, label & product management and mentoring.

kiosko.berlin is a creative music marketing agency based in Berlin that focuses on artist development, label
and project management, as well as the coordination of PR, marketing, and creator campaigns.

The music consulting agency works with artists, labels, management teams, and music companies—from independent
projects to established artists, and from domestic to international releases.

The traditional “artist and label” model often no longer applies. Many artists today work independently with experienced music
marketing agencies as well as individual digital and physical distribution partners. Success is primarily driven by
streaming platforms, social media, and viral dynamics. This is exactly where kiosko.berlin comes in with its services.

Several areas come together here: 1.Digital & (if needed) physical distribution & streaming (including playlist
pitching) 2. Social media & content marketing 3. Community building (Direct-To-Fan, D2C) 4. PR, creatorcampaigns & networking 5. Live performances, fan events and concert marketing.

The DSPs (Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer) organize their playlists into three main categories, which vary
significantly in reach and relevance. When we talk about playlist pitching, we’re referring to the submission of unreleased songs for the editorial playlists of the individual DSPs. In addition, there are algorithmic playlists generated by DSPs specifically for each user, as well as playlists created by users, independent curators, or influencers.
